"To put it simple, you need to eat here. Cooper’s Hawk was such a great experience for my wife and I. She has a gluten allergy, but without hesitation, this was probably the most secure we’ve felt going out to eat. The staff was extremely accommodating and our waiter, Paul K., knew the menu like the back of his hand. He spoke in detail about numerous items on the menu, making good recommendations that spoke to our palates. I ordered the pretzel crusted pork chops and I’d order them again 1000 times over. Phenomenal. The sauce tied everything together and complimented the potatoes and broccoli. What a perfect plate of food. My wife got the braised short rib risotto and they were so flavorful. Of course, it was gluten free and indicated as such on a dedicated gluten free menu. She actually had a hard time deciding because she wasn’t used to having so many options, but she’s glad with what she got. The flavor was perfect. We shared a flourless chocolate torte for dessert and we inhaled it. Delicious. We went for our anniversary which we noted on our reservation, and the staff came through. A couple of people wished us happy anniversary and we received complimentary champagne - what a phenomenal service. We’ll definitely be back."

"An unforgettable dining experience at Cooper’s Hawk! The staff exuded warmth and professionalism from the moment we stepped through the door, making us feel right at home. The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor, paired perfectly with their exquisite selection of wines. The ambiance was charming, and every detail, from the presentation to the service, was impeccable. A definite must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a culinary delight! Cooper’s Hawk in Troy is one of my favourite places to eat in Detroit area."

"Wonderful experience dining here for date night! On a busy Saturday they were still able to get us in, and we sat by the bar. It was an intimate setting and our waitress was super nice. We loved everything we tried, from the bacon cheese plate to the spaghetti with homemade meatballs. My favorite were the Southwestern egg rolls! The wine selection is off the charts, with so many options depending on what you are in the mood for. I loved the ones I sampled and can’t wait to try more next time. They also have a wine shop where you can buy a bottle of wine and also do a tasting at the wine tasting bar. I think this is a great idea if you’re waiting for your table, you can incorporate a tasting as well. We will definitely be back, especially for a special occasion or just a date night."

"You have to make reservations here, or you will not get in. Sat at the high tops in the bar, which was just as accommodating as anything else. Service was amazing. Thank you Haley! Wide selection of wines and liquors. The menu, you will not have a problem finding anything that you will like. We were waited on so fast food was very good."

"I always enjoy Cooper's Hawk. I don't get a chance to go too often, but when I do it's always a good time when the food is consistent. The appetizers are always good as well. If I had one critique it would be to steer away from the salmon dish, it was very dry and underseasoned. The seasonal bread pudding dessert was exceptionally good. The service is reliable, our server was very nice and explained things on the menu and even made some wine recommendations. The ambiance is cool. Low lighting, lots of people and the tasting room was very busy. I do recommend making a reservation or you may end up waiting a little bit."
