"Ordered two dinners and my dinner wasn't the best. The waitress was very friendly and the prices were decent but the dinner wasn't that good. The chicken noodle soup, green beans and mash potatoes were bland while the jumbo shrimp was overcooked and rock hard. Edit: was charged a non-cash surcharge... Wow in 2024 that's crazy"

"This restaurant use to be a family favorite, but the last year and a half it has severely gone downhill. The last time we came here to dine-in, we had a terrible experience and haven’t returned since. The owners wife was rude, kept rolling her eyes, and had a huge attitude about cleaning the sticky substance off our table. After getting our watered down drinks, we left the money on the table and left immediately to find another restaurant to go to. Usually we would order takeout and either pick it up personally or have it delivered. Yet, each time we did that, our meals were significantly screwed up and missing items. How do you forget the dressing to a salad or the fries to a cheeseburger? That in itself makes no sense. It goes to show the lack of interest in doing your job correctly and paying attention to detail. The owners or manager should be ensuring the orders are properly made and bagged ready to go. I have no clue how these waitresses are not double checking to make sure mistakes are not being made. The quality and quantity and become a huge issue as well. The prices keep going up, while the portion sizes have been going down. The menu prices don’t always reflect what you see on the menu which is worrisome. Always make sure you get a receipt and double check it prior to paying. Either way you slice it, it’s just a bad habit that kept getting worse and nothing was done to prevent it from happening over and over again. I highly suggest taking your money somewhere else because this place will just leave you with a bad taste in your mouth and severely disappointed."

"The only reason this place is even getting one star is because the waitress was so sweet. The chef and the owner had no idea how to treat their customers or make food properly. They even had the audacity to pick through our omelette and send it back without onions and peppers because we had a complaint because it’s not on the menu. So be careful what you order it’s not even the real thing."

"Pleasantly surprised considering this was the 1st time I've ever been to this joint after all these years of living nearby. My wife, son, and I all enjoyed our food. I ordered 2 coneys with the spicy fries. I'm used to the coneys that snap back a little when you take a bite. While the hotdogs weren't what I expected, they were still very good in their own right. They were still juicy and blended well with the chili, onions, and mustard. The fries while still being good, I wish they were crispier. Which I'm sure could always be asked for so it's not a big deal. My wife ordered the meat omelette with gravy on top. It always seems to be a great order if from a coney island, and this time was no different. My wife gave me a few bites and it seemed like every bite taken had cheese in it, but not over cheesy. It was perfect! My son ordered the kids pancake and sausage. He loved every bite of both! I wholeheartedly recommend this joint and we will definitely be back to try more!"
