"This preschool is fantastic, and the teachers are wonderful. We sent our son to WCS Wilde Elementary for 3 year old preschool, and to Grosse Pointe Cooperative Preschool for 4 year old preschool and the difference was night and day. At WCS we were not allowed to volunteer, we were never told what the kids did during their time there, the teacher there would occasionally give an update like “no one cried today” and that would be all the info we got. At ptc at WCS the teacher showed us a couple terribly photocopied pictures of a jungle vs a forest and said our son was having a hard time telling them apart. They were so dark, even I was having trouble telling them apart! (This is just to illustrate their teaching/learning items were lacking). The teachers at Gpcp are very responsive, incredibly patient, they welcome parents into the classroom and they do wonderful activities daily. On one single day when I volunteered they baked corn muffins, made their own butter, hammered golf tees into a pumpkin, etc. I would highly recommend GPCP"
