Frita Batidos Ann Arbor

"Been meaning to stop in here for years. Finally got the chance one Saturday night, this is one of the few places that was still serving food at around midnight and it was packed to the gills. First off I have to say The atmosphere is pretty cool, large open space with communal seating, a centralized ordering area and a bar off on its own. I decided just to get the churros which I had never had there and the pictures didn't do them. Justice... Was expecting three churros that were normal size but was blown away by the fact that the churros roams the size of my arm LOL. They were pretty amazing and the order of three couldn't be finished by one person so bring someone else with you if you're going to order them. Ordering was super easy and everyone in this place was very accommodating and polite... They've got this thing down. Pat on how to get your food ordered and out to you as quickly as possible. And as efficiently as possible. I will definitely be returning here to try some of their Cuban sandwiches instead of just dessert next time."

"I recently visited Frita Batidos and had an absolutely delightful experience! The coconut cream batido was simply divine, with a texture reminiscent of a soft sorbet-style ice cream. I’m already planning to return next week just to indulge in another one! Moreover, the beef burger with a sunny-side-up egg exceeded my expectations. The inclusion of fries inside the burger was a genius touch, resulting in a burst of flavor with every bite. This place has undoubtedly become my go-to dessert spot in Ann Arbor. The interior decor is modern, cozy, and inviting, adding to the overall charm of the place. I can’t wait to bring my friends here to share in this wonderful dining experience. "This spot is amazing. I had the chorizo with egg and cilantro lime salsa. Damn that burger was so flavorful! Great spot! The best snack ever was also amazing! Highly recommended. Not much Latin options in Ann Arbor so bring from California this was a hit for sure!"

"I always enjoy this place. I’ve dined here more than a dozen times and this is my first official review. Something really great about dining so much before making a review is I can say with confidence that every experience has been the same wonderful experience. Friendly and helpful staff and delicious food!! This visit I had a black bean fritta, made loco, coconut batido and twice fried plantains, and my lunch date ordered the Cuban and garlic fries. All delicious and look forward to returning!"

"Love the atmosphere with the white brick walls and decor, friendly and attentive staff for sure! While I loved the chorizo Frita, I'll say my least favorite part of the actual sandwich was the meat patty (it was good but not what I was expecting for some reason). But everything else was perfect - the egg bun, the over easy egg I added, the string fries are perfection, and great sauce. The refreshing Batidos slushy was spot on as well!"
