Jaspare's Pizza & Italian Food

"The server / bartender Derek i believe was very very unfriendly and seemed pissed off because ppl weas there for 1 and he also expressed that he was pissed because on sunday they got busy and he wasnt called to work as i heard him tell what i believe to be regular customers at the bar. I just moved to the area and i stopped in for some lunch and a drink, i ordered a lemo shot that was terribe and tasted like peach shnaps. Ive been a bartender ,server , and cook and manager at 1 time or another for 35 + yrs anb most definitely know afew things as in i got cheated on the 3 lemem drops as i also watched him give either a regular or a friend a triple shot captain and coke i believe not positive on the mix cuz it was a very lightly colored drink. Im very sorry im not a complaining type person at all but if it was my place i would want to know. I will not return"

"The pizza is good, not great but good. The problem is that the service is terrible. If you order a pizza to go they will give you a pickup time of say 25-30 minutes. When you show up at the 30 minute mark they will tell you oh, another 20-25 minutes. It happens every single time so I quit giving them my business. My time has value and clearly that don’t value me or my time so to hell with Jaspares! How freaking hard is it to give an accurate order time? It’s not hard! When I was a kid I worked in a pizza place and we never did what Jaspares does! NEVER!"

"Last night was our last try for this place. The food has been sub par. No flavor in the sauce. Last time we got spaghetti and meatballs and it was basically noodles and some meatballs. Last night we tried the Chicago style pizza. Can’t eat it. No flavor. The paper that the pizza sits on was in our food. I guess from being so wet from the steam. Terrible packaging that I should chew on paper. Everyone I know just raves about the place and for the price I’m not a fan at all. Frozen pizzas make better pizza. Won’t be going again that’s for sure. We have spent too much money and have not once liked the food."

"UPDATE: Todd, noticed a full credit on our account today. Thank you. Handled like a Pro. Based on your response and owning the issues, I will give Jaspare's in Vicksburg another try. Showed up on time to pick up 2 pizzas. Told it would be 3 minutes, took 45. Poor communication. Pizza was greasy, soggy crust, and poorly cut. Was given a $10 off coupon for next pizza. Spent $51 including a 20% tip. Won't be going back."

"Came here for a lunch today & I liked it. It was an empty restaurant around 4pm on Sunday, holiday weekend. I ordered the beef brisket sub & onion pedals. I thought there could more beef brisket meat on the sandwich & that the onion pedals could be crisper. They were a bit soggy but still tasted good. Very reasonable prices for everything on the menu for what you get. A place I'd like to come back to, to get their pizza."
