"Over all my years here, the staff have gone above and beyond to help students. As you see on here, many are upset, here is what I think -Head-lice: You'll get that anyways it's not the school's fualt. -Teachers don't care: most do now, sure old Mrs.Keen didn't care but she's gone. It's just retiring teachers, not all. -Notes don't come home: I think that's your child's fualt Anyways, it's fine. The school is a little dirty, but hey, it's a couple hundred children to clean up after."
"Teachers here bend over backwards to make sure students have the opportunity to learn. Likewise, the principal and office staff are patient, attentive, and as accommodating to parents as the law and good judgement allow."
"They are HORRIBLE at getting service and/ or assistance for your child if the services require Special Ed, Taking time with your child to see what he/ she needs. But VERY Quick at Suspensions, Disciplinary actions, and spreading talkes of behavior, etc. amongst themselves about your child. Before you know it, Everyone knows your child NOT ONLY for their behavior, but whatever they had to say about it. Instead of concern about your child , they look for negative , and suggestions of inadequate home training, and/ or inappropriate upbringing.... Makes you wonder about who really NEEDS More adequate, and Appropriate Behavioral skills and/ or training.....There ARE a select few whom REALLY has their heart in it for the kids....."
"I miss my teachers. Ms. Downie was an amazing principal. My teachers include Mrs. Carson, Mrs.Baily, Mrs.McDonald, Mrs.Shrewsbury, Mrs. Fletcher (Ms.Alcala), and Mrs.McLaughlin. Sometimes the lunch ladies do too much. Head lice was a problem after 1st grade. But other than that, it's a great school."
"My kids bring home live every other week, notes don't go home to parents about it unless a parent requests it to. The teachers are not good teachers, the office staff and principal don't care."
