"I think it is great that the establishment sells the meat they also cook with. The food was really good, wasn't a super fan of the grilled chicken because it was heavily limed and it was rather overpowering the rest of the salad was good. They serve the "good" ranch. I also had a Reuben to go and my husband said it was amazing!!! The beer I had citrus notes too for imperial stout which didn't jive for my liking but that is only because I am used to thick dark stouts. I did try an oatmeal stout as a test and it was good too however I went with the imperial as they had no tasting for that so I just got the smallest one just in case. We did end up getting deserts and I had the pear crisp cheesecake and that was soooooooo good. All in all the food, the waitress, the establishment was very nice. I am definitely coming back because there are trails I need to explore in Allegan. I took pictures of the town as it was mostly under construction and totally looked like a ghost town."
"For a little country town, this place is surprisingly hip! Friendly service, lively vibe and some pretty amazing steak bites. The butter garlic sauce is to die for! Burger, steaks, watermelon salad were great with lots of unique flavor. Friendly server had taken the time to write inspirational notes on the paper napkin wraps :) Also have a fresh meat market on-site...pretty cool! We'll be back next time we're in town."
"My girlfriend and I visited for lunch about two months ago and loved it. We brought my parents two weeks ago and they enjoyed it as well. They have great food, friendly service, and a nice casual atmosphere. Their handmade cheesecurds are one of my all-time favorite appetizers and the open-faced beef sandwich is wonderful."
