"This school in my opinion has completely failed my daughter and put the rest of the student's safety at risk. My daughter was sexually violated by another student, during school, in her classroom. We made this known 1st to her teacher on this past Saturday who contacted the principal who met with us Wednesday morning, when school resumed from mid winter recess. They said all the right things in making us feel this would be handled appropriately and quickly. Only to find out there doesn't seem to be much consequences when you sexually violate another student. We know the boy was at school that same Wednesday, my daughter pointed him out as we left from our meeting. My daughter missed 2 days of school because she was afraid of this boy and what he had done to her. We were mislead by the people of this school to believe this would be taken seriously. I promised my daughter she would not have to face him today, surely it had only been 2 days that he would not be at the school and she could feel less worried and feel safe. But....he was. He was there at school. They told my daughter she did everything right in telling, that she was brave for telling and what he did was WRONG.....! Must not be to much of a bad thing to sexually violated your classmate to only get a maximum of 2 days suspension. These people should be ashamed of themselves. If they only truly cared and wanted to do right by the safety of my daughter and others. I don't think they would've taken it so lightly. I was also told by the principal herself, that I should explain to my daughter that in real life we have to see and deal with people we don't like. Are you kidding me!!!! This is not....just some kid she doesn't like, he VIOLATED........her!!!! What on earth is wrong with these people. What kind of message are sending to little girls who are victimized? This is not right, it is not fair, and I'll am not done fighting this. Shame on you.....I'll never believe another word that comes out of her mouth, that's for sure. P.s. I have no complaints about the teachers my child has had. My daughter has loved her teachers here."

"I love Tyler Road. Every individual in that school made my daughter's arrival welcoming and easy. The secretary is a real gem. She answers all my questions and she loves the children. The principal is always visible and ready to speak to parents. The school is diverse and I love that my daughter is going to school with so much diversity. The school feels like a home. It's absolutely amazing."
