"Inventory when walking straight in seemed not very stocked in the "fresh" area."
"Aisles are way to small, always cluttered with racks of product which causes issues with getting thru already to small aisles. Slow service. Staff is spread way to thin. Prices are NOT as good as they used to be. Some are the same as other department stores. Place has gone to hell in past few years."
"Website says it’s open until 8 pm. Got there at 7 pm. Employee wouldn’t let me in because “we’re closing”. We arrived in Shipshewana to camp for a few days. Needed to get a few groceries. Being told that they’re closing an hour earlier than what the website says did NOT make me happy. When I decided to write a review, I saw that there were comments and pics of the filth in the store. Maybe it was a good thing they were closing. Sure won’t be back to this store. Corporate needs to attend to this fiasco"
"This is the most unorganized DG that I have ever been in. However the employees that work there are very nice. The way it appears is they are understaffed and underpaid however I do not know the real reason. Also have noticed they have a lot of products not on the Shelf but in boxes behind the wall."
"Typical dollar general but better clearance selection and friendlier staff. Parking is tricky and narrow, so beware when backing out of the spot. We make this a snack stop for when we are at the local hotels, its never too busy and will have what you need."
