"Great lunch spot. Lots of flavor, everything seemed very fresh and well seasoned. Very reasonable prices for a fresh weekday lunch ($13.95 for gyro, soup and drink). My wife ordered her gyro as a bowl and it was loaded with gyro meat and toppings."
"Bottom line: It was decent. There wasn't much to get excited about, but I don't have much to complain about either. I would say it meets expectations without exceeding them. Pros: if you're in the neighborhood and you're in the mood for a gyro or some hummus you can get that and more here. The service was good and the prices and food weren't bad. Cons: not much to differentiate it from other similar places, the food doesn't stand out and though you can dine in the experience leaves you feeling like it's more of a take-out restaurant."
"I dined here once on October 28th. The food and service were average. The Greek gyro was a little dry to me. I had to ask for extra sauce to make it edible. They served shoestring fries with heavy seasoning. The restaurant was not busy but several of the tables were dirty with crumbs and food residue as if the staff don’t throughly clean between visits. The portion size and prizing were reasonable. It was $8.95 for the Greek gyro and $3.49 to add fries and a drink."

"Hands down best Gyro you will find in Grand Rapids, and probably all of Michigan. PETA bread is soft, fluffy and fresh. The lamb was so tender and appropriately portions. The sauce had a uniform consistency and was fresh. On top off all that the staff were extremely friendly and took time to explain the different dishes if your unfamiliar with Greek or Mediterranean food. Looking for something different than fast food or a pizza? Look no further as Zesty Gyros has you covered. I will keep coming back and back again."
