"Stopped in for lunch with a colleague, this was my first time there and his second time in a week. I am from Illinois and travel back to visit family and always stop for a beef sandwich. This place did not disappoint, sandwich was spot on and was delicious, server was friendly and the place has a great vibe. I understand they have live music on Monday and Thursday nights, not sure about the others. I can't wait to go back so I can try the Chicago hotdog! They do serve alcohol and have an outdoor seating area. Chicago Beef Joint has made the list of one of my new favorites and I can't wait to go back!"
"Transport yourself to Chicago for some authentic Italian Beef at Chicago Beef Joint. It's a fun little bar and restaurant that features, you guessed it Chicago Beef. But they have more than that, dogs, sausage, the Bears losing (just kidding), that if you're a native of Chicago, you'll feel right at home. That said, let's talk about the Italian beef Sandwich. It comes dipped with the peppers of your choosing. I went with sweet, and told them to drown my sandwich, and it was fantastic. Pair that with their delicious and crispy fries and a cold beer, what more can you ask for? On top of the great food, service and atmosphere is fantastic. This is a great place to come in, watch a Blackhawks game or have some drinks with friends. Don't sleep on this place, you have to try it."
"Love this place! Laid back vibe, tasty food, excellent pricing and fantastic staff. Easy in and out (lots of free parking) and is a great spot to bring your family while visiting GR. Shout out to Jake for being the best bartender in town!"
"I had dinner here while I was in the area, and I thought the food was great. They served everything quickly, and the portions didn’t skimp at all. I got a Maxwell Street Polish sausage and a Chicago dog, and both were packed with toppings and flavor. The waitress was friendly and took care to make sure we had a good experience. It’s nice to know there’s a place serving these Chicago staples in the GR area."
