"My husband and i drove from Muskegon to support this black owned business ir was the worst food i have every ate in my life. When we went in we were not even greeted , i ordered pigs feet ,cabbage and green and chicken and hot water cornbread. My hisband ordered rib tips dressing mac and chesse and cat fish . We also ored sweet potatoe pie and lemon pound cake .where do i began the pigs feet taste like fat water they had no flavor the greens were tough and hot the cabbage was mushy and sweet the hot water corn bread was hard wet yellow sweet corn meal. My pie is in the garbage. My husbands rib tips were not tender his dressing was so dry the mac and cheese was a big ball of maccarronni without cheese the cat fish was old and cold.when i got to the register the total was $76.00 i couldnt beleive it and on top of all of this the meal didnt even come with a cup.of water. Dont waste your time or money it was the worst meal i have ever had.for $76.00 we could of went to the amway grand."

"Server was kind of rude. I’d never been there before and didn’t know what I wanted as they have a bunch of sides to choose from. He said “you should’ve went last then.” I was with a group of six and my home girl had to let him know it was our first time there. He could have been a bit more welcoming. The food was ok."

"Stopped in here on our way home from church. My wife and I had tried some of their food previously at a catered event so we decided to get some takeout from the actual restaurant. We had two meats barbecue rib tips and fried chicken (white meat) it came with two sides so we got greens and macaroni and cheese...the meal also came with a piece of hot water cornbread. The ribs tips and fried chicken were pretty good! We also enjoyed the macaroni and cheese. The greens were just ok to us and the cornbread was super dry so that was very disappointing. Overall though I think we'd come back because there were a lot of other items that we'd like to try!"

"We was looking for some good food and WOW this place is definitely that!! Everything was delicious some of the best Mac n cheese you will put in your mouth and the spaghetti was delicious."

"I was really excited to give this place a try. I must say the customer service is GREAT! The food on the other hand not so great. I ordered a fried pork chop dinner with dressing and Mac n cheese and I added a smothered pork chop on the side, a fried chicken dinner with spaghetti and Mac n cheese and a smothered turkey knuckle dinner with greens and dressing. The fried pork chop was not done, it is a thick piece of meat that needed about 5 more minutes in the fryer. The fried chicken was very dry. The macaroni was old and dry, the dressing was SO dry. The greens had big stems in them. The peach cobbler was what I was really hoping to be the savior of my meal, nope, it was a bowl of mush! I ordered the sweet potato pie but I didn’t feel the need to even try it. I think it would benefit this place to Cook less food more often to keep it fresh."
