"I hadn’t been to a Taco John’s before, so I decided to try them one morning for breakfast. It looked closed and took a bit to get an employee on the intercom, but I did manage to get my order. I think only one employee might have been running the whole operation. That being said, the food was decent. I’d consider it at least on par with a Taco Bell, and the potatoes were very good. I suppose I’ll try their regular meals sometime, but it wasn’t a huge improvement over other fast food options."

"BIGGER? BETTER? WHATEVER! The 2 taco meal was the most pathetic attempt at tacos I have ever seen! Very little meat and must have forgot the cheese all for $10... the ratings say it all! 2.9! Don't bother trying total ripoff"

"Extremely slow service. We were one of two customers in the restaurant. There were no employees up front to take our order so we used the kiosk to place a simple 3 item order. We waited close to 30 minutes to receive our food. It was cold by the time it was handed off to us. Definitely not worth the money or the wait. I’m not sure what caused the slowdown but I don’t think we’ll be back to Taco John’s again."

"My tacos made a "phhllp" noise as they flooped out of the wrapper. The tacos were good but pretty greasy, even staining the tortilla brown some. The little potato things were good, reminding me of Burger King hash browns but crispier. They'll prompt you if you want cheese sauce for the potato things. I recommend it, as the fake nacho cheese sauce is often my favorite part of these kinds of joints. Overall, it's a pretty decent value for fast "Mexican" food. Think alternate universe taco bell."

"Although new to West Michigan Taco John's was founded in 1969, in the state of Wyoming. We learned part of that from their packaging and the rest from one of their nice young employees. The food is better than Taco Bell but as it is fast food it is only so good. Taco John's is fast food tacos, like McDonald's is to Wahlburgers. I got their Super Nachos and a cheese quesadilla. My wife got their chicken quesadilla. We also got their Mexican Donut Bites. The quesadillas were good. The Donut Bites were alright but not the best food restaurant desserts, or on the top end of the list. Being a brand new restaurant it is clean, and even well staffed. I plan to go back to try more items. As it is not in my normal path of travel I doubt it will not be any time soon. Although not a stellar review I do recommend Taco John's."
