"You can TASTE the FRESHNESS of the food in the fruit alone. If you ever want to know how fresh of food you're eating, ask for their fruit or a salad. I had the Filloas, savory crepes and they were bursting with flavor! No disappointment there. My daughter got an omelet with a side of fruit. The best part is the fruit was so FRESH we requested an actual side of fruit. Now we were going to call it good there BUT when our wonderful server brought out the desert tray & I saw key lime pie with homemade whipped creme, I KNEW it was going to be fresh & have that beautiful zest with the sweet smooth creme to even it out & oh did it! In short, there's a reason the Morning Star Cafe is raved about & it is well deserved."

"Had breakfast here on a weekend to Grand Haven. First, the place is fun and has a terriffic menu. I had the Corn Cake Benny and my wife had gingerbread pancakes...great stuff. Second, their coffee is wonderful. Third, the service was some of the best I have experienced in a long time. Somehow this place keeps a full staff and they all seemed pleasant. Our server, Giana was wonderful! Asked us what we liked and made suggestions, and they were spot-on. All of our interactions here were great, but this young woman sets a standard for customer service. Highly recommend!"

"Everything about this place was great. Our server Reagan did a fantastic job and the food game out perfect. I had the Breakfast BLTA and my fiancee had the Stuffed French Toast. Between the Sage Mayo on mine and the amazing house made Raspberry and Vanilla Sauce on hers, they were both fantastic. The Irish Coffees they offer were a great start to our New Year celebration. Would recommend to anyone."

"Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. A little cramped but we didn’t mind! We had a party of 8 so we had to wait about 45 minutes to get seated but it was a Sunday morning around 11 so that’s to be expected! They use a digital waitlist so you can easily go check out nearby shops while you wait for their text. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had real half and half available for coffee (I hate creamer cups full of preservatives). The South Tuscan Scramble was to die for! Highly recommend fitting a Morning Star breakfast into your Grand Haven trip!"
