"My husband ordered the perch dinner and I ordered the smoked meatloaf dinner. They were both fantastic! Our server was very good. She was so nice and watchful without being bothersome. The atmosphere is up north casual. We met the owner and she was also very nice. We chatted with both for a bit. We are definitely going back to enjoy another meal. We highly recommend!"
"Placed a 100$ order for my crew. Gave the store 24 hours notice. Showed up to pick up the order 10 minutes early. They said we were early and it would be 20 more minutes. We left and waited. Came back 20 minutes later and the cook in the back was cussing about how he was never given a Togo order. I gave my name and phone number. The hostess turns to me and goes "who did you place the order with" I didn't take a name. Didn't know I have to verify 4 times for an order. Tried to support locals considering we were a fellow local business, but I had to go back and tell my crew we were getting pizza instead. Very disappointed"
"We only came in once under the old name and ownership. We were less than impressed and never came in again. When we learned that April, from Yankee Boy, had purchased the bar, we decided to check it out. What a difference! We've since been in several times and have enjoyed the food and drinks on every visit. The perch is always perfectly seasoned and cooked. The Offroad and Blueberry Bourbon Pie are excellent drinks!"
"Off the beaten path, next to Fife Lake, is this hidden gem! They offer a Silver dollar sized chicken & waffle appetizer, picture worthy, cause it was too cute! Burgers cooked to perfection. But it’s the VERY courteous staff that provided a knock out welcome, for these newbies! We enjoyed a round of pool, while we waited for our food. IPA on tap, which provides the opportunity to try something new! We will be back."
