"This is my preferred station to go to in Sault Michigan because it doesn't have pump prepay and I can go in after I'm done fueling to grab a drink at pay all at once. I don't know how the guy working there (Dan maybe?) Is so upbeat and cheerful at the ungodly hour of the morning I'm usually stopping in at but it makes for a good start to the day."

"I stopped at the Holiday station on Portage Ave. while in Sault Ste. Marie recently. I regularly visit their stations in the Duluth area so I receive text messages from them with coupons. On this recent visit in early August 2018 I purchased gas and had received a text for $1.00 off gas at any locations in Michigan or Wisconsin. I went in to pay, showed the clerk the message, but the coupon would not open on my phone. After several attempts it did not open, but I was still charged the full price, with just a "sorry" in what to me was an insincere tone. I have had this issue with Holiday's text coupons before and Duluth-area stations still honored them and gave me the discount. Also, as the text was clearly from Holiday's '44022" number that they advertise at their stations, the clerk had to know it was a legitimate offer. Instead of giving me the $1 off and having a satisfied customer, the station gets this negative review. Go down the street to the Marathon/Admiral station instead and avoid the rudeness."
