"If you are from the UP, you know pasties are the great comfort food with alot of history dating back to the miners. If you are from this area it's a big debate of which place offers the best pasties. I am lucky my wife is from Iron Mountain Michigan and had an opportunity to stop by Jean Kay's. There are several in the area but I would have to say Jean Kay's is one of the best. The pasties are made fresh with good quality ingredients. The crust is super flaky. I ended up getting 8 pasties to bring back to VA. A must stop if you are in Iron Mountain. Don't take my word for it. Try a pasty and find out."
