"There were 4 tables open when the two of us arrived. Older waitress (hair up on head, wore glasses) said to take a seat, then added, " There's a 2-seater behind the register." There were 3 other tables open, two 6-seaters and a table for 4. We chose the table for 4, at which point she rolled her eyes, shook her head, grabbed a rag and came over to the table. We didn't know the table had to be wiped down. Everyone saw her roll her eyes, so we got up and sat behind the register. I didn't feel like being mistreated throughout my meal, but we should have just left. It's very small and so cold by that window. After we moved, another couple came in and they were offered the table we first chose, followed by yet another couple who sat at a table for 6--so, clearly, her rolling her eyes wasn't because they were expecting a mad lunch dash of larger groups, but because she had to wipe the table (which she had to do right after that anyway!!) Just last week, we were served by a young man (an owner, perhaps this was his mother) - I told him how much we liked their restaurant, the food was delicious, good prices, very clean and excellent service. For him, this still holds true - for the woman who waited on us today, she needs a serious attitude adjustment. In this economy, having a steady stream of customers matters. I much prefer to give my money to people who treat me nicely. I hope she reads this and really stops and thinks about her body language. It's really much easier to just be kind."
