"Congress Pizza is quite simply the best. It is a thin cracker crust with a homemade sauce. The Congress is the heart of the local community and their pizza is fantastic. In the warmer part of the year they have outdoor tables as well. Make it a point to eat here and you will be very glad you did."
"Top notch pizza - thin crust, flavorful, and lots of toppings. I grew up on this stuff, and more recently and most importantly to me, you can get it with a gluten free crust now. Very friendly staff. Eat in or take out, it's a good experience!"
"Let’s begin with the fundamentals. Crust: Crisp, crunchy, thin, and cooked to perfection just like your Roman grandmother. Seriously, you will eat more than necessary, just for the textural sensation. Sauce: handmade, just like the dough and resulting crust, perfectly paired, and layered to your desired toppings. Cheese: Light in volume, yet complementary to the “thin crust” style pizza with handmade sauce on top. There is not any reason to add an abundance of cheese when the crust, sauce, and fresh toppings have definitive flavor and texture. Hospitality: Second to none! The people are as good as the pizza. Part of the experience is grabbing a drink, sparking up a conversation with the guy/gal next to you, or the friendly staff, and watching generations of patrons filter in and out. The staff treats each person like family, and it is a heartwarming experience to see, and know that places like this still exist in the world. We have been coming here for over two decades and the quality, hospitality, and people are only getting better. If you are within 100 miles and are looking for life changing pizza, then look no further. (They also offered excellent vegetarian, vegan and GF options.)"
"I've never met a real Italian, not until this place destroyed me and built me back up from nothing. I needed a real, strong man in my life who could take care of me and protect me. Best pizza I've ever had. 2 slices of potato on top. I missed my father after the accident, and my dog was never the same. But this place cured something in him, his eyes are filled with light again. The rain poured heavily on the glass. When I drove away from this place, I drove away a new woman, now more ready than ever to face my problems."
