"I will never take another pet to this Clinic! I had to have my dog euthanized February 21, 2023. When you have a pet euthanized, you are supposed to get a ceramic paw print of your pet I was told they lost it. I need to backtrack a little bit . Nobody from the clinic reached out to me to let me know her cremation was done . After two weeks of no word, I called the Park Falls office.They had no idea where Nalas remains were. They contacted the Phillips office to ask if the cremation was done and, if so, where was she. Turns out she was at the Park Falls office . I went to go pick up her remains and one of the workers came up front holding Nala’s remains, laughing!! Something funny must’ve happened in the back, and she was still laughing about whatever it was when she came out. She had this box in her hand and said here’s Nala…. Mind you the last time I saw Nala I was holding her, singing her, her favorite song as she was being euthanized. From holding the actual animal, to be being handed a box saying that’s your pet was heartbreaking. After the utilization was done, Linda told me that I would be receiving Nala‘s paw print from a mold they make to make a very long story short, I made many calls during the weeks past asking for her paw, print . Between the Park Falls and Phillips offices, I would be told I would receive a call back from someone. Several times that didn’t happen I texted Lynda asking about Nalas paw print as well. She told me herself they lost it!!!!!!! I told her if a mistake was made on their part and they didn’t make one just to tell me. She said they definitely did make one, but they can’t find it. She said it was in her house somewhere.. Nala was euthanized February 21, 2023. It is September 26, 2023 and still no paw print. ."

"I was able to get an appointment at North Country Veterinary Clinic fast. My dog was examined thoroughly, and the Verterinary went over the results in detail with me. All personnel was courteous and helpful. Usually my dog is not comfortable at a clinic, but he seemed fine at this one."

"My family was visiting from out of town and our dog had an allergic reaction to something. An hour and a half before closing they squeezed us in. Super customer service and care for our Peanut. We are so appreciative! Definitely 5 stars!!"

"My experience with north county vet clinic was only one day, but it was one of the hardest days in a pet owners life. We were up in Springstead area when we realized our 4 year old dog Bo was worse than just under the weather. In the matter of hours, we were discovered he had untreatable masses on his stomach. Dr. Lynda Ludwig was straight forward but compassionate. She was fully booked the rest of the day, but told us she would stay after hours at another site so we could take Bo and have four more hours with him out in nature. We were able to say goodbye and give him the last of our love. Writing this months later, I can't describe how much that time meant to us. NCVC even donated to the University of Wisconsin in his name after by a letter we received from the university. While I hope no-one reading this ever find themselves in this situation, this clinic helped in our worst time with the best we could of received."

"Our family’s experience with North Country Veterinary Clinic has been outstanding through the years We have dogs and a cat. Our dogs have always received excellent care and the vets have saved the dogs lives several times. We use the Pet Resort and our dogs received excellent care during their stays. Recently I took my cat in due to a concern related to her teeth. She was diagnosed with a reabsorption issue which required extraction of many of her teeth. The clinic and Dr Ludwig did a fantastic job with my cat. My cat is happy again."
