"Not a fan. The new policy to check cards after you have shopped and before you check out is incredibly inconvenient. The two young men who wanted to check my ID were patronizing and demeaning. I felt ganged up on and was obviously frustrated because I had yet to experience this new protocol. I was told "ma'am you need to calm down." I never raised my voice. I was just confused. I've been in retail Mgmt for over 25 years and I know customer service. This was not Ok. At the least check customers cards BEFORE they spend an hour shopping. Train your employees to deal with a frustrated customer. Here's the way it should have gone. " Good afternoon ma'am. We have a new policy to check membership status before you check out. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. May I see your ID so we can move you along to check out. It will only take a second. Thank you for your time and for shopping with us today. ". Not difficult."

"Overall it’s a value for my family to shop here because we are a large family. The checkout people are nice. The management is a different issue. During the winter, I had made a turn into the first left parking lot and ended up scraping the entire passenger side of my SUV. I didn’t see the rock was sticking out way passed the curb as my SUV sits very high. After getting out to see the damage, I looked at the rock and I’m assuming whomever plows their parking lot ran into the huge rock and pushed it over the curb. You could tell by the tire marks on the landscaping and the drag marks the rock made as it was being pushed. I filed a claim with management whom seemed annoyed and tried to talk me out of filing a claim. To make it even worse the claim was denied because COSTCO said whatever happens in their parking lot is not their responsibility and they refused to give me the name of the company who plows their parking lot for me to address it with them."

"I visited this store on 11/28/2022 I was leaving the store, and the person who looks over the orders as you leave his name was Johnathan, told me he had to "count" my entire order because I used the self checkout. He then took everything out of my cart and placed it on a self on his left. Like I was a thief. Everyone was looking at me. I was mortified, embarrassed and in tears. After he was finished, I went into the parking lot and asked another consumer if she had recieved the same treatment because she too used the self checkout. She said no. And we agreed that I would talk to a manager. I then spoke to Scott and he defended the young man. He then told me he would check the camera to see if he had done the same thing to other customers who had used the self checkout, speak to Johnathan and call me with the outcome. It has now been a year and I still have yet to get that call back. No one wants to be the victim of discrimination or unfair treatment This is terrible. I do not pay $120.00 per year to be treated this way. Ridiculous!"
