The Flower Petal

"The Flower Petal is one of the most unprofessional wedding businesses I have ever encountered. They were the floral vendor of a friends wedding in September 2023. They moved with absolutely no urgency at all when there were road blocks by weather presented. They forgot multiple arrangements that the bride ordered (and paid for). They did not arrive to the reception and ceremony until 2:30 and were working on arrangements until 5pm exactly when the ceremony was to start- claiming the weather slowed them down. All of the guests watched them move at a snail pace and leave a complete mess in the space where guests should have been walking. This mess when cleaned up by the reception venue because they felt bad for the bride and groom and the mess and chaos their wedding guests witnessed. If you want a stress free floral experience I HIGHLY recommend you select a different vendor."

"Andrea recently did my best friends wedding in Sept 2023. While the flowers were fine, the communication and customer service was absolutely awful. Flowers arrived late so we could not take bridal pictures with them and the team was still setting up the arch minutes before the ceremony started so guests watched them make a mess. The venue manager cleaned up the flower stems so guests didn't have to walk on them as they went to their seats. Weddings can be stressful and I understand that, but the venue is not allowing the Flower Petal back because of their lack of professionalism and inability to follow the brides wishes. After the wedding, Andrea did not take on any ownership of the problems and blamed the bride for anything that went wrong. She may be a fine florist, but she is not equipped with the customer service skills required for weddings. I would suggest that you save yourself the stress and use a different florist."

"The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets were very nice. There was miscommunication with the flowers for my center pieces for my wedding. As I was going to meet my husband for my first look, I was screamed at that I didnt have center piece flowers on my contract. And instead of coming up with a solution, they immediately wiped their hands clean and said “we don’t give out free flowers and we’re not doing anything we aren’t paid for” During my phone consultation I was told that I wouldn’t need many flowers for my bud vases, and that we could left over flowers/ small bundles to fill them and would be priced accordingly based on the number of tables. I had no contact with the Andrea, despite my bill being paid in full months before it was due. The ceremony aisle flowers were dead and looked like it took 5 minutes to put together. Overall, I’m disappointed and hurt by how I was treated on my wedding day. I wouldn’t recommend this flower company."

"Beautiful flowers and was exactly what I expected. Prices were excellent and they were accommodating to our needs for our wedding day. My only issue was with communication. There were several instances that I would email and it would take a week or longer for a response, and at one point I had asked for a phone call to discuss a concern I had and was only emailed which was a bit aggravating. We figured out the problem I was having, but I just wish that if I asked for a phone call I would have been accommodated better on that end. I know they were moving locations and I’m sure they were busy with that, but I was also told prior to booking I would be notified if they did move or would be, and wasn’t informed that they did until I had asked. Besides the communication, it was an overall good experience."

"Andrea was absolutely wonderful to work with. She managed to surpass my expectations with what little detail I gave her. The pricing was amazing compared to other places. I was able to get so much more for my money. She seemed so caring an understanding, I was even able to get a silk flower for my father who is pretty allergic. Every last detail was perfect down to the vases at the reception. I don't know when i'll need a florist again but I 100% plan on going back to The Flower Petal."
