"Disappointed to have a bad experience at this local jeweler. I came in for a fix on my engagement ring, the prongs became loose and the diamond was spinning. It was said to be a simple fix and guaranteed to be a quick turn around. Everyone was very friendly and I also bought my husband a Christmas gift while I was in. Within a few days they called to say they would need to recreate the ring shape in order to tighten the prongs. I agreed to this fix assuming they were the experts, not me. When coming in to pick up the Christmas gift I ordered and my fixed ring, it was evident the ring no longer fit. They made the ring a full size smaller than it was. I shared my concern and I was very upset that I still couldn’t wear my ring. It’s hard to believe that they wouldn’t have sized my finger for a new ring size. The response to this was a shoulder shrug and a “we can’t resize till after Christmas so you’ll have to come back”. It was very insensitive and disappointing to hear this type of response after trusting and paying someone to fix your jewelry."
