"Laura Allen's review hit it on the head. Pleased with her ability to find the right gemstone; albiet there was frustration throughout the whole process. The owner was consistently late with her own timing. Emails that were supposed to come were at least 2-3 days later than indicated (sometimes more). When she did email, they contained wrong renderings and wrong links (one link was for another couple's wedding bands). Detail-oriented is something that you kind of expect when buying engagement rings, and this place was below average."

"We had our engagement and wedding bands custom made at Lane and Kate. While we are satisfied with the rings, we were so disappointed with the customer service that it overshadowed our wedding ring process. The customer service was mediocre throughout the year, but we were especially let down in the final months leading up to our wedding. Ellana inconvenienced us several times by being non-communicative, ordering the incorrect size, and having us come to the store twice at an agreed upon time when she was actually unavailable and the ring was not ready. She wasted our time several times in the very busy weeks leading up to the wedding and was not apologetic. I know that wedding vendors are very busy at peak times of the year, but we got married in the winter, and we were truly patient throughout the process. Overall, the customer service was unprofessional and we were treated poorly."

She will never push her opinion on you so you feel free to get whatever you want, but if you ask her opinion she can help you decide (if you’re indecisive like me). It’s so helpful to have someone gentle help with this process because it makes it so much easier. Prices vary depending on what type of work the piece you get requires (custom work). We felt like they were fair for the outstanding products, service, experience, and new friendship we got in return."
