"I had a great experience with the bank teller. She was nice and respectful, but the bank manager, on the other hand, was condescending and rude. I have been trying to close my account here for a few weeks. I had a name change and wanted to close my account that was with my old name. I called closed my account and the account was reopened in the middle of the night. They allowed for charges to come through, after I cleared my account to a zero balance. They make closing your account extremely difficult and insist they do not need your permission to reopen your bank account. Online customer service was also absolutely terrible. They do not care about their customers. I have had an account with them for the last 15 years. Do not bank with 5/3. Online customer service was rude, the bank manager was rude and if they had no intention on closing my account; they should have told me that over the phone. Instead they tell me its closed and reopen it in the middle of the night. Accounts are consistently pending for 7 to 10 days. They are absolutely terrible. What's the point of closing my account; if they can reopen it whenever they want? Before you choose 5/3; look up the lawsuits they have been in over the last few years. You may change your mind."

"This review is for this bank and Fifth Third Bank in general. The bank took over my mortgage and I have tried several times to setup autopay for the last three payments to no avail! The bank should accommodate a customer who wants to make timely payments and not take up their employees' time (phone and in the bank) for something this trivial. You cannot setup autopay unless it's done through the mail or by fax! How is this possible in this day and age... I did this through a representative in this bank the first month, then the second month came along, and again I was told that it was taking longer than usual, but they would follow up... then to my surprise I get another form through the mail to complete and send. I called the bank to make a payment and the rep advised me that the auto setup could be completed through email; however, I never received the email the rep told me she would send. I called once again, and another rep informed me that it could not be completed through email or through the web, and again informed me that it could only be done by printing and sending the form through the mail... I am still in disbelief... After three bank visits, and several phone calls I am still in the same place I was a few months back. The one star is for the courteous manner in which I have been treated, but what good is it if you don't get matters resolved."

"Usually this place is really great if you wanna go inside. But if you’re going to use the ATM try a different bank because I’m telling you out of the multiple times I’ve use this thing it’s either ate my money from a deposit and I had to go through an entire process to get my money back, or you go to two different branches to withdraw money and neither one of the ATMs are working."
