They have good benefits ,they pay well and are good with home time.. The trucks and trailers are newer and are always maintained. I plan on staying because they've been more than fair to me and it's a solid company that has no problem getting you freight. You won't sit around waiting for a load. "I’m a current driver at CLE so here’s my honest opinion. If you’re a newer driver CLE will give you the experience that you need. You’ll learn to run your clock out, you’ll learn to back into VERY tight spots, you’ll learn to blind side back, you’ll learn responsibility as a driver, you’ll learn how to do relays with another driver, you’ll learn how to do multi stop loads, you’ll pull reefer trailers once in awhile, you’ll pull liftgate trailers once in awhile, and you’ll pull dry van most of the time. The office people at CLE are really cool and very easy to get along with. The shop is really good at keeping the trucks and trailer’s operating very well. Now, if you don’t like running hard all over the US then maybe this isn’t the place for you because you’ll run everywhere ( but not a lot , if any, of the northeast ). CLE also has day-cab positions too. There’s never a dull moment with CLE. All in all it’s one of the best companies I’ve driven for, and coming from me that says a lot. Oh, and the pay is great, and you earn ever dollar. Sandbaggers need not apply."
