"We are so disappointed with Huntington Bank for not following through with their Get $200 when starting “a new relationship”. Our daughter just tuned 18 and was so excited to open a checking and savings account. We received the $200 offer and was so excited but then were denied it because they said it was because we set it up one day prior to it starting. The form DOES NOT list a date requirement. We have banked many years at Huntington as well as with the prior bank they assumed. The promotion DOES NOT LIST A DATE. She meets all of the requirements. How terribly poor of Huntington Bank of Tallmadge to convey such negative reinforcement to a young new adult starting their saving and banking and then get a “BAIT AND SWITCH offer of get $200”! This may very well affect my families banking with Huntington and this is far beyond what they did not stick with their word."
