"I'm new to bowling and wanted to purchase my own ball. I researched options in the Akron area and decided upon Cutting Edge Pro Shop because of the positive reviews. As the other reviews note, Jim was fabulous. He had a ball in stock that I was looking for and he was able to drill the holes and engrave my name. I will go back there as needed for supplies. Would highly recommend!"
"Came across this pro shop when looking for ball drilling services. They had great reviews but were about a 40 minute drive. I figured all the good reviews couldn’t be wrong so I took the trip and they definitely did not disappoint! Ball was drilled and ready to go within 15min of being there. After the first test game I needed an adjustment. The guy helping me (I failed to get his name) made the adjustment on the spot free of charge. And as the cherry on top he offered to polish the matte finish on the ball to get it down the lane a little further before it starts to break!! Very very impressed with not only the quality of work, but with the friendliness and knowledge of the employees as well. I was not the only one they were helping at the time and everyone was getting the exact same attention to detail and top notch service. Needless to say, I won’t be going anywhere else for my bowling needs."
"Cutting Edge Pro Shop is the best! Jim and Parker are very knowledgeable about their products, and have drilled all of our family's bowling balls (which is now somewhere around 20 or so balls and counting). If they didn't originally drill one of our bowling balls, they skillfully fixed the very amateur work from other local pro shops that we ignorantly went into before finding this shop. Not only are the guys at Cutting Edge masters of their craft, they are also the nicest guys around, always making sure that you have exactly what you need; and even helping local bowling teams when they are able. This is a first rate place."
