"Our company is from the Cleveland area and our normal trash providers do not cover this area so we used Doherty. Prices were fair, they are easy to deal with and prompt in their pickup and delivery. We will definitely use them again when we are doing estate sales in their service area."

"They COMPLETELY destroyed our brand new trash can over the course of 6 months. literally every morning after s pick up , we had to go out and pick up pieces of our smashed trash can. Its no longer useable at all. Whoever picks up trash needs some anger management cuz it looks like they took an extra 5 mins just to kick a new piece out every time. So unprofessional."

"Company told us to prepay for the year up front and we did now we are moving and they wont refund our money for 6 months of the prepay . Only solution they would give us if we have a truck load of garbage they would get rid of it for us with out charging us. That I my mind is theft of services. We will be looking further into this."

"My husband cancelled business with Jim Doherty Trucking Co. Garbage Pick-up today because they only pick up what you can stuff in your container...not really a big deal...Owner Jim sent his son out to pick up the can this evening while we were having a family dinner... he peeled out of my driveway and left skid marks on the asphalt and then turfed the yard at the end of the driveway! I called the owner Jim to talk to him regarding this and his response was "Oh well...He was probably mad because you cancelled us. I'll talk to him." Really? If it was my son I would be lecturing him on how to be a mature adult and how to fix the problem! Is this how you handle a growing business? I expected more from this company. Did I mention that the can was on the side of my attached garage?? What if my daughter would have been outside???? We try to support the local business instead of the ones who try and monopolize...this business is very unprofessional and vengeful. I would not recommend switching from your current provider."
