"Rude woman behind the counter told me she couldn't give me change anymore because she cant find my business account even though I have a personal account, she told me I have to take off my uniform shirt in order to get change now. The company I work for has millions in these banks, and thats how shes handles a customer who has bank with them for many years. She definitely should not be a decision maker."

"I just left the branch as I had scheduled and appointment with Jennifer Rolph, Personal Banker. I have to admit that my last in person visit with a personal banker was 6 years ago and did not go well Today was a terrific experience. Jennifer treated me like a person, not an account. I started off expressing my disappointment with 53 in general and she listened...really listened. She was on time at 2pm and made the transition easy to negotiate. After we finished she reviewed all of my accounts and then updated and changed several settings to serve and protect me better. She is truly a real asset to your bank. Thank you for some really great customer service. Brent S"

"This is the worst bank on the planet as far as I'm concerned. I stopped doing business with 5th 3rd years ago because of an auto loan we paid off. Several months later they came back and said we owed more. Most recently, my mother opened a savings account for my daughter. She deposited $500 a couple of years ago for college. We went to withdraw the money and this "rip off artist" kept $200 for what?! DO NOT BANK HERE! There are way too many options to tolerate this type of activity. I will tell anyone and everyone my poor experiences with this place. If you choose to bank here, remember...the house ALWAYS wins."

"I am from Los Angeles, California and I looked up a Western Union pick up location on MAPS. I walked a mile and a half to this Fifth Third Bank location, filled out my WU P/U form and stood in line for more than 10 minutes. The woman turned me away because I don't have an account there. She proceeded to give me driving directions to another location and got irritated because I wasn't understanding her directions. I've never been here before and I'd already walked 1½ miles to get there, needless to say it wasn't a happy moment, especially when she told me that she could walk to it and that I'm younger than she is, so I can too. No doubt I can, I can walk a mile in less than 12 minutes. I had a meeting that took place late because of this inconvenience, but I did make to the next location. That information MUST be disclosed in advance. Customer Service THERE at that bank location is awful. I'd open an account at a B of A before I'd bank there. One Star is generous."
