"Tried to get an auto loan here at the recommendation of a local dealership and not only was I denied the loan they didn’t even allow me to set up a checking and savings account. I just wanted to be a customer because I much prefer credit unions over banks. In the end I got an auto loan online for less interest and it was classified as a personal loan so I technically own my car outright. Sad when an online bank can do better than a local credit union."

"I had a mortgage refi with Cardinal, they offer great rates, low closing costs and they don't sell the mortgage to other companies. The refinance process was so much easier than when I purchased the home and financed through the realtor recommended mortgage company. The service at Cardinal was also more personal. I sold my home nearly a year ago and the entire process was simple. When I misplaced my tax documents from them I stopped in for a visit. I was immediately able to sit down with someone who provided the docs I needed to complete my taxes and they also told me about additional docs I would need from the title company that I was unaware of. The woman helping me reached out to the title company who in turn email the docs to Cardinal and to me. Cardinal was kind enough to print these papers for me. Even though I no longer live in the area, I will continue to work with this financial institution now and in the future. Once I am ready to buy a home again I will surely check with them first."
