"Was in right before Christmas and had acrylics put on, spent $70 not even a week later and 4 nails had fallen off, I went back and was told they would replace them, then got told I owe $30. I shouldn’t have had to pay for them since acrylic normally last me 2-3 weeks before needing a fill and these didn’t even last a week. The new set look bumpy. I’m beyond frustrated I had to pay for this. I could have done them myself better"

"This nail place was amazing! I defiantly recommend! As soon as I walked in great customer service happened! They were very patient and allowed me to pick my color with great recommendations on the side. When I sat down the place was neat and they kindly asked if I was comfortable. The workers has constant washed hands and a clean area with clean tools, Monomer, brushes and fresh drilling pieces were used. The guy was very patient and precise. He prepped my nails and trimmed cuticles. When he was done with the acrylic layout he trimmed and measured to make sure all nails were same size. (Most nail salons don’t do that) The price wasn’t too expensive and I was happy with what I payed for good nails. Overall my experience was great and I highly recommend.."

"I included the inspiration pic. From far away, my nails look okay. I don’t know the name of the guy that did my nails but I sat at station #4. He was super polite and was willing to fix the things that I noticed. Once I got in the car I realized how uneven everything is. Not a single nail has the same thickness as the next. I asked for them to be thin and natural looking. They are not thin and they don’t look natural AT ALL. (Which I understand it won’t be 100% because it’s acrylic and not a real nail). Definitely would never go back for acrylics. My thumb nail has already chipped on the corner and it hasn’t even been an hour since I left the salon. They also cost $50. Which I think was absurd."

"Visited K Nails as a walk-in. Went to get mani/pedi’s with my daughter as a holiday treat. They were able to get us in quickly. Sitting in the pedi chair, I showed the tech what I wanted. He informed me that while he could do the design, he could not do regular polish- only gel. I should have put my shoes back on and left. Worst pedicure EVER. He didn’t trim my nails, didn’t do anything for callouses/roughness. Basically it was a foot soak and paint job. I overlooked that because it was something I was doing with my 13 year old daughter and as long as she was happy, I would be happy too. When it was time to move to the mani station, no slip-ons were provided so I had to put my shoes back on over my brand new pedi. Not how other places operate, but I suppose since he used gel polish it didn’t matter- except that I didn’t really get a chance to look at my pedi as I was being herded along. For my nails, the guy automatically started applying tips. I hadn’t asked for or wanted acrylics. Since he already had glue on my nails before I realized what was going on, I figured I’d just go with it. I’ve always been curious about acrylics, but have never gotten them before. I will say he matched the design I showed him, and I was happy with that. Come to find out my daughter’s tech also gave her acrylics without being told or even asking if that was what she wanted. She very specifically told him she wanted her nails short (she loves to draw and can’t do that with long nails), but he did not listen. He also changed the polish color she picked from the almost black purple to a much lighter mauve/plum color. I was finished first and had already paid and tipped before I found out about her experience. Upon leaving the salon, I sent my sister a pic of my first set of acrylics and her response was that I needed to go back and have them fix them. As it turned out, the tips weren’t my put on straight, they weren’t filed evenly, and they were too thick. The bigger problems however were the facts that the tips were not glued flush to my natural nails, and 4 of my nails had gaps between the natural nail and the tip that water and food could get into and I would not be able to clean out, and that to give the nail a more natural shape, he drilled the acrylic along the cuticle to take off some of the thickness, but drilled too far and left red drill/filing lines in my natural nails along the cuticle. Thing is- since I had zero experience with acrylics, I had no idea either of these things were problematic until my sister saw them and I started doing some research. While my sister pushed for me to go back and have them fix my nails, I had zero trust that they would be able to do that without making it worse. So. . . Countless you tube videos later, I no longer have acrylic nails. Honestly, after this experience, I don’t know that I’ll go back to ANY nail salon. It seems they actually just trash your nails with the drills and techniques they use, and I certainly would not recommend anyone go to THIS particular nail salon."
