Park Hill at Fairlawn Apartments

"Love these apartments! My wife and I have been here for almost 3 years and it’s been wonderful. The only thing I can add to making Park Hill perfect, would be getting some electric vehicle chargers. There are multiple residents who have electric vehicles and the only way to charge them is through a wall outlet which isn’t very good. But beyond that, yea the apartments are fantastic"

"Did not have any issues living here until I moved out. Take precaution! This place will bill you for things after ending your lease, even if you paid all your bills and leave the place spotless before moving out like I did. They will NOT reach out to you to contact you about it, even if they have all of your contact information and forwarding addresses. Instead they will send you to collections when it’s only been four months. Still after that, they will have zero attempts of informing you that they billed you to begin with, let alone sent you to collections. Fortunately I am able to dispute this collection due to Park Hill’s inaccuracy, false information and having data missing when filing it. Thank you, Park Hill."

"The Good = quiet, neighbors are nice, nice office staff and quick maintenance staff. The Not So Good = You can certainly tell the owners aren't much for investing in the property. The term "luxury apartments" is used rather loosely here, maybe if it was 1997 it would fit, but they certainly charge rent like you're getting actual luxury. Laminate counter tops, black textured kitchen appliances, old carpet with wrinkles and brown trim and doors? Poor paint jobs around the doors (a lot of the doors have wall paint on them) and no trim around closet doors? I believe the parking lot is original to the property also from the 1990's, given the potholes and deterioration that exists. Poorly kept landscaping anywhere except the leasing office, makes it difficult to park your vehicle in certain spots or even walk through the sidewalks, but oh don't worry the club house looks as groomed as a golf course. The pool is useable about half the summer when it's not full of algae or green in color (see pics). I'm sure there are worse places for the cost, but I'd recommend something newer or at least better invested in by the owners."

"I have lived here for three years. The staff is friendly and Jodi always answers my emails promptly. Maintenance has always been quick and helpful. The landscaping and ponds are very nice. Although we don’t use the amenities much, they are great and well kept. The cost of rent is higher and my apartment was not updated at the time of rental. I know many of the apartments are updated now. Despite that, it isn’t too outdated. The complex is in a convenient area. My apartment is next to the highway so unfortunately I don’t get to use my balcony due to the noise. Overall, I am happy with Parkhill !"

"I have been living at Parkhill for almost a year now. The staff are super friendly and maintenance is always quick! My heat went out in the winter and they had stopped by over the weekend (when the office was closed) to drop off some portable heaters until they could get the people out Monday to fix it! They were good portable heaters too, not bad ones that couldn't heat a 10 sq ft area. The situation was handled very well. The surrounding area is beautiful with ponds and trees. The apartments themselves are nice as well. The pool in the summer is very nice and well kept. The location is great with multiple grocery stores under a 10-minute drive away, and a vet that is very close and very good if you have fur babies! Overall, I highly recommend living here."
