Located at 1230 West Lakeshore Drive in Kelleys Island, Ohio, the West Bay Inn is a popular bar and restaurant offering a variety of dining options and entertainment. With special events, a new menu, and a full entertainment calendar, there is always something exciting happening at West Bay. Whether you arrive by boat, plane, or ferry, the stunning sunset views at West Bay are not to be missed. Enjoy a meal indoors or outdoors, play games like corn hole or volleyball, listen to live music, or simply relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Free WiFi is available throughout the grounds and marina, and designated areas are pet-friendly. Known for its breathtaking views and sunsets, West Bay is the best "Dock-n-Dine Deal" on Kelleys Island and a favorite spot for boaters on Lake Erie. During peak season, West Bay is the only bar on the island with a view of the sunset, and every evening a cannon is fired off to mark the occasion. Guests dining at West Bay can use the marina at no charge, but transient slips are available downtown for those staying on the island. Live bands perform every weekend during the summer season, and a Queen of Hearts drawing takes place every Thursday at 7 pm. "On the walk up the courtyard was packed, people standing around everywhere. Opening the door we thought they were closed as there was nobody inside. One couple in the corner of the entire place. Got our soft drinks and they were so watered down no one finished a glass. The service was great the guy was nice but when the food arrived we were almost all disappointed. The fish that one of us ordered was great, thick and good. The rest of us ended up completely avoiding the meat in our meals. The pulled pork came in a rainbow of pale white greys and deep reds. Large un-pulled chunks that were all so slimy you had no resistance pushing your plastic fork through it. The chicken on the nachos and salad was worse than mystery meat pieces that came out of a sketchy microwave dinner. They were not remotely appetizing and were not eaten past the first bite. So we dropped 70$ on 4 meals that only one person enjoyed and 2 wouldn't eat. Tatter tots , fish , and service were good. That's all."

"Food was pretty good and the atmosphere cool, but when we told the bartender that the bloody marrys tasted bad, she did not care and walked away. Don't bother asking how the drinks are if you aren't going to do anything about a bad tasting mixed drink!"

The well mannered staff were not only quite friendly and very helpful without being pushy, but the prices seemed reasonable given the fine quality of the dishes we were served and the comfortable atmosphere overlooking the lake and Perry's Monument was relaxing and enjoyable."
