"Establishing the Vue 180 Tenants Assoc is a last-ditch initiative to provide residents with a unified voice to hold prop management accountable for the basic day-to-day, typically assumed responsibilities, such as common area cleanliness (the elevators are embarrassing), general property maintenance, widespread common issues among individual residences, and evening security. It’s easy to term the property as luxury based solely on the location (which is great), however the pricing doesn’t add up to what you experience on a daily basis. Many lower - similar priced “luxury” alternatives within a few miles (Aqua, Current, Artistry, Academy). I’ve enclosed a few of the prop highlights I’ve experienced in the first 8 months of my lease. ***Note the percentage of 5 star reviews by users with 1 total review, no comments, or an Airbnb renter***"

"How silly of me to think the luxury price that I paid for this apartment would come with luxury standards. Mattresses by the parking entrance for months, dirty amenities and hallways. Not to mention the CONSTANT pet hair and urine in both elevators on a daily basis, that is if they're both working. The previous apartment building I moved from had the common areas cleaned everyday and I paid half the price for rent. Vue180 has no one doing routine cleaning, they definitely need to step it up! When I was first shown my apartment I was told my balcony door would be fixed. After signing the lease and 15 months later it never was. When asked about it on multiple occasions, I kept getting met with excuses. The last one being it's a foundation issue and that I'm not the only one with this problem. As a result it allowed cold drafts in the winter causing my heating bill to increase and air to escape in the summer, but also made it easy for bugs to get in. Plus it didn't help with the noise since it's supposedly soundproof when fully closed. I wouldn't know! I'm not even going to get into the miscellaneous water charges that miraculously appeared when I moved out and ate up my reduced deposit. If you're moving in 201 make sure the door is fixed beforehand or you'll regret it. I didn't want to go through the hassle of moving so when I asked to be accommodated by not increasing my rent by $150 to renew my lease for 9 months and I was denied...until I put my notice in to move. The best thing about this place was the location and convenience for me. The view is nice, but so are other communities along the river that actually care about their property."

"I cannot recommend living here. You pay so much for not a whole lot. Exercise area is acceptable but the equipment needs maintenance. The party lounge (which is on the 1st floor and farthest from the levee) is nice but not for the $100 reservation fee. But have fun inviting people over because the "guest parking" is constantly filled by the same cars making it a hassle to have anyone over. The trash shoot has been closed since June of 2021 and there has been no progress on fixing it. The elevators constantly need to be fixed. The lobby, hallways, and elevators constantly smell. Flies are a huge issue in the summer. The $100 covered parking is awful and doesn't protect against any elements or provide any safety, and the $75 uncovered parking isn't much better. Not to mention how much we had to fight to get one of our cars moved because it constantly had water freeze all over it that came from the roof. Our room was nice-ish but if you looked closely it definitely was a rush clean up. Paint could've been done better by a 4 year old, everything still needed cleaning, the carpet had staples sticking up out of it, light bulbs we're out, among other issues. I would HIGHLY suggest looking at other options in Newport because you'll pay the "luxury" price here but you certainly won't get it."

"This will be your wonderful “VUE” every time you come home… a gigantic dumpster in the middle of the garage. Been there months, although it’s been moved twice. Really Vue 180 & Flaherty and Collins? This is what my $2,000 rent gets me? Can’t wait to move!"

"Stayed here with some friends during our trip down to Newport. Great apartments with incredible views, and the places themselves are very nice. Particular one we were in had two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a great social area in between with full kitchen and laundry. Incredibly clean, good check in and out times. Good Wi-Fi. Beds aren't terribly comfortable, probably my only negative Parking area is a little cramped underneath the building, but serves its purpose well enough. Views from the apartment are pretty awesome and surrounding area is lively. You're in walking distance to so many different entertainment areas that you never need to drive, anywhere. All great access to a ton of awesome areas. Area feels relatively safe. Nice people, all about, and staff at the apartments are all very helpful and polite. The price of cost versus all you get while staying here is incomparably better then anything else in the area. If looking for a place to stay while in the area this would be high on my list of recommendations."
