"I’ve noticed there haven’t been any new reviews, which is strange. I thought I’d give my opinion on living here for three months so far. First, the apartment itself isn’t bad for the price. It’s a good deal compared to other places in the area. It’s a little outdated, but the location and privacy is worth it. My issue is: There is hardly ever follow through with the many issues we’ve had so far, and it’s unfortunately shown to us that the people running the property don’t really care unless we push it. The place is left in disarray and neglect. We've had a leak in our closet for the whole time we’ve been here, and it still hasn’t been fixed. The maintenance man told us they will ignore the issue if we don’t constantly bring it up and remind them. Upon moving in, I spent hours cleaning because nobody did. I asked for some kind of compensation (there were several other issues as well) but was ignored. The lights outside our apartment have been out for weeks. We can’t see when we go outside at night, making me feel unsafe. There is a $15 HVAC care monthly charge that I think is unnecessary and I still have no idea what it’s for. The vents are filled with dust and the heater wouldn’t work correctly when it was cold out. The lockbox was left on our door for months after we moved in. What if someone knew the code and decided to come in as they please? I’ve sent emails voicing my concerns, asking to be updated on future plans. We’ve been running the dehumidifier in our closet almost everyday for months, which has skyrocketed our electric bill. They ignore us frequently when we send out a maintenance request, and I’ve never gotten a response through email. I would like to feel heard and like our issues matter in the place we live."

"Moldy apartments, terrible management, raccoon problems.... have been dealing with the same maintainance request for 2 years and they just do janky work to cover it up. Spend a little extra and go elsewhere!!!"

"Living at the apartment was an okay experience. I have nothing bad to say about that. However, getting our rent deposit check was an absolute headache. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone! After tons of phone calls and emails, they finally reach out to me. They then cut my deposit in half even though the apartment was left in better shape then when we found it. VERY FRUSTRATING! Overall the apartment was fine, but the management was horrible!"

I had put a deposit on a until prior to the leasing company switch about a month ago and although there were some rough patches in the transition, Renting Ohio has gone above and beyond to make sure that i was a satisfied customer and to make up for any of the shortcomings of even the initial leasing company in the transition. They have truly been a pleasure to work with and are a great team of individuals. I would recommend any of my friends or family to proceed in working with them at any time in the future."
