"Ever since the city sold to Republic, have had nothing but issues with the services. Constantly not picking it up and giving access to my account to someone else who lives in the same building. I would highly suggest when looking for options, do not come to this company. Wish I had the choice to choose a different company. Don't make the same mistake. Never received any late invoices until the pickup had been stopped and autopay was deleted by someone other than me."

"This company sucks have been paying them on time the same way since they came I to town. Now they couldn't find the money took 2 weeks to resolve the situation and they are blaming me for their stupid mistake. So now i have to take my extra garbage to the landfill and pay them too."

"Our bill went from $197.74 a quarter to $316.42 a quarter. Called another local company and got the same exact service for $75.00/quarter. Received a call telling me I had late payment on an invoice, I never received, for picking up the container, over $80.00, that had been picked up 3 days earlier. Called billing, was told I owed the money, it was in the contract. Called Customer Service and was told I owed nothing but it would take 20 days for them to get me an invoice telling me I owed nothing. Their service was going to be $864.00/year more for the exact same service."

"Short of highway robbery! They will only pick up ONE item at no charge then 35.00 per each additional item on large trash day. When I called to schedule another bulk trash pick-up I would have to wait a month! That's bad business."

"After being a customer for 25+ years with constant rate increases that I would have to call and negotiate I had had enough. My rate jumped almost $20 in one quarter. When I phone customer service they were only willing to reduce the rate by $4. I cancelled our trash pickup during that phone call on September 21. I was told my last date of service would be September 30 and my can would be picked up on October 7. When the can was not picked up I called on October 10 and was told that they had no record of me cancelling service so I would have to pay for another month. I was livid. After asking to speak with a supervisor they finally did cancel the service, reluctantly, at the original date I was told. I was then informed that there was a $50 fee to pick up the can!! Absolutely ridiculous!! I will never do business with this company again and will inform others to beware as well. I was able to get the exact same service from a competitor for $30 cheaper a quarter and no extra "fees". Republic Services is price gouging."
