"Local spot to visit for us. A descent walk through for the Christmas lights. No tickets required. Plan additional things to do if not from this area. We support the local historical society. Many worthwhile light displays in the surrounding areas."

"I came on a Tuesday. My mom told about me about the village when I came to visit her from out of state. I enjoyed seeing the old buildings preserved and placed here in a village like setting. Though the buildings were closed, I could see the displays of furnishings and miscellaneous items through the windows. There were information stations with brief histories of the respective buildings. If you like history, this is a must see."

"Nice little park with a lot of restored local buildings in a village setting. As shown, nice place to take pictures. Amherst periodically puts on festivals here, also weddings can be arranged here. A nice slice of Amherst history."

"Nice little historical area, it's obvious a lot of time and care went into preservation. I was with my parents and the Cranksters (Model A club) on a guided tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, as well as those speaking in the different buildings. I highly recommend this short trip."
