"Coming from a healthcare background, I sought opinions from 3 dental practices on my child’s dental issues and Explorer’s treatment plan by far made the most sense and was the least invasive (therefore less cost). The check ups & cleanings are also a great experience for even very young apprehensive children. They are at ease while there."

"Upon recommendation from a friend, I took my son (3.5 years) and daughter (21 months) to Explorer for both of their very first dental appointments, and we had the BEST experience. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly - all so great with children. The waiting room had a little playhouse that the kids loved, and the staff made everything fun and relaxed in a way that put my kids at ease. They saw both children at the same time, so I sat with my daughter on my lap, and my 3.5-year-old hopped right up on the chair next to us for his exam. They made it fun, explained everything, and were so kind and patient. NO TEARS for anyone, much to my (pleasant) surprise! They let them pick out some goodies (i.e. mini toy dinosaur, snap bracelets, new toothbrushes, etc.), and sent us on our way with a good report. Dr. Julie gave us her undivided attention while she was seeing the kids and answered all my questions. All in all, such a fabulous first dentist experience for them both. We will tell all our friends with children about Explorer and look forward to our next visit. Thanks again to the whole Explorer team!"

"We love Dr. Julie Rudgers-Croft and her staff! They are all so kind and patient with our kids. My youngest has ADHD and Auditory Processing Disorder and the sound of teeth cleaning tools really upset him and the way he was spoken to at our previous pediatric dentist only made it worse--it made him feel like "bad kid" and it made me feel awful for him. Our pediatrician at Akron Children's recommended we try Dr. Julie and I am SO glad we did. I only wish we did it sooner!
