"started in june or july of 2023. referred to this dental office by the VA for community care due to being 100% disabled through them. and that’s when the nightmare began. i came in to fix some dental issues and they offered to redo my veneers (veneers that had been in place for over 20 years and never had any issues or fell off once). i was given a temporary set, not shaped or smooth, very jagged and roughed up the inside of my lip. i was told the permanent ones would be done in two weeks. these temporary ones then went in to have to be replaced by other temporary ones. this time done a little more professionally and by someone who seemed to have a clue. my two week mark came and surprise, they weren’t done yet. so i had to wait another week and a half before being brought in for the permanent ones. the day finally came. guess what.. made it about three weeks and one fell off. after 3 more times of coming in to have it glued back on, they decide, we are going to give you a crown… brings me to the current day.. i come in and more prep work is done to get ready for the crown. mind you this temporary veneer now fell off twice more..was told in a friday, the crown will be ready on wednesday next week. was told i would be contacted the same day to confirm. monday comes, no communication yet. i reach out and am ignored till i send multiple messages. wednesday comes. take off work, and nothing. i reach out and am told, contacting the lab, it’ll be ready thursday, blah blah… and… so i have to burn a sick day, miss work, and have been given the run around time and time again. if you are a veteran and going through community care for dental, do not, i say again, DO NOT let the va send you here.. i will be requesting somewhere new once, IF, this ordeal ever ends."
