"The Gaslight Theater and the Gaslight Theater Players are not the same group. The Players are an active community theater group that has been performing plays and musicals for many, many years in the theater. They do not manage, schedule performances, or maintain the theater. The theater itself is owned by the village of Georgetown, but is not actively managed by the town. Since it is a public building, any group that wishes to use the space and is able to pay the fees should be able to do so."
