Tire Discounters

"Terrible experience. Took our car in for a simple repair they had done before for us. But this time not once were we updated on the status of the car nor told when the car was ready to be picked up. No one gave us an estimate on how long it would take, nothing! We were left in the dark and we had to call the store every single time if we wanted any update. Bad customer service. Then upon payment, last time we paid over the phone with a credit card and this time they had told us the card holder must be present or they cannot charge the card. Will never be bringing our cars here again. Unsure what changed since the summer but this is not how you keep your customers."

"My tire light kept popping on, I went in to get it checked out and Mike did a great job taking care of it! I haven't had any issues since. Will definitely be returning!"

"Dont trust Mike Wiehe! My family and I have been going to our local Tire Discounters for years and has gotten nothing but the best service everytime. That is till I met Mike Wiehe GM of the tire discounters at 9701 Princeton Gleandale. Now dont get me wrong I’ve had mechanics that have tried to give me the runaround and get me to spend a little extra money than necessary…but never have I been fed so many lies for something so simple. I came in for a simple tire repair on an extremely small leak i had on my tire…was then told by this GM that they “do not plug tires anymore” and that he “can not legally work on this tire”. As he’s telling me this he’s already ringing me up for TWO brand new front tires claiming this is the only option i have. I simply told him id like to hold off on that then i took myself straight to our usual Tire Discounters location (colerain ave.) where they DO in fact plug tires and they did so without charging me a dime! I advise anybody to watch out for this guy or anyone else like him! They look at you as a pocket of money to suck dry and nothing more."

"I heard great things about TD but unfortunately my experience was a bit disappointing. I had a slow leak in one of my tires (turns out I ran over a nail) so brought it in for a patch. I dropped the car off at 10:30 and was told it should be ready in the afternoon. After not hearing from them, I gave them a call around 3 for an update and was told my car was next up and it would be ready by 5. When I arrived at 5, they told me they were backed up on appointments (I was a walk-in) and didn’t fix it yet but they would start on it soon. Fast forward to 6:15 they finally pull my car up to a bay to start working on it and had it finished around 7:00pm. The staff were all friendly and professional, and I was grateful they were able to patch it instead of buying a new tire. But they certainly need to work on giving more realistic time estimates to customers. There were other customers also waiting in the lobby who were told their cars would be ready soon but waited much longer than I did."

"Absolutely poor customer service. Extremely rude and acts like things are the customers fault. Employees didn't know what they were doing and told me my tires were good to go when in fact they were not. Nothing was re-calibrated for my sensors to read correctly. I ended up going to another location and will not be coming back to this location."
