"I called to ask a simple question he was the one doing all the questioning was very rude to me said my problem is I don’t think I should have to pay for anything even though I don’t feel I should have to pay for a question. I asked for his name and he hung up on me. It is no wonder they have such little stars for the reviews. If I am going to pay for an attorney again you best believe that they are going to be the ones who deserve the money. Update: To the responder The conversation was completely different then described. I did not say others refused to answer my question. I said that they told me i had to contact an attorney in the area that my divorce took place. No i do not feel it is right to make someone pay to get a simple question answered after already paying thousands of dollars for a divorce. I was only told that you did not have time to continue the conversation AFTER i made the comment that all the questions you had been asking was taking longer then me getting the answer to mine. so time was clearly not the issue. I do not write reviews to get back at someone. I write reviews when i feel the unprofessional or professional behavior deserves recognition and in this case your unprofessionalism deserves just that. Tone is about 90% of a conversation. I will not say mine was perfect but as you are the business and i am not you should have been less rude and if not willing to help apologizing for an inconvenience and maybe recommending me to someone or at least telling me details of what it would take to have this question answered through your company."

"Horrible experience. Expect to do everything but file the paperwork all by yourself. We went through a bankruptcy. I emailed our lawyer the paperwork he requested about a week before our initial meeting. He waited until we got there to ask me to print it all out and bring it back to him. First of all, I'm paying you $1100 and you can't PRINT?? Secondly, if you needed me to print it, why not RESPOND TO MY EMAIL PRIOR TO MY VISIT SO I DON'T HAVE TO COME BACK. We met with him in late October, and had to constantly follow up to find out what was going on. He FINALLY filed the paperwork in late February or early March. WHY?? He had everything he needed from us, I don't know why it took so long or why we had to constantly chase him down. He's NEVER there when you call, NEVER answers the phone. Then when we finally got our court date, he didn't even bother to come with us, just sent us on our merry way. About two weeks before the court date, he requested this year's tax returns, which I promptly emailed to him. We get to court an hour away in Toledo only to find out that HE NEVER SENT THEM OUR TAXES. If I hadn't been able to pull them off my phone and send them to the magistrate, we would have had to go home and reschedule our hearing. I will absolutely NEVER work with Ruggles Law again, and will advise everyone I know to stay away from them too. They are completely unprofessional."
