"They are terrible. There was only 1 accountant in the whole place. The rest were just people typing info in the computer. They couldn't answer any questions. The accountant that was there wouldn't listen. Said we owed $2700 when in reality we only owed $500. Said they filed our state taxes but we got a letter saying our state wasn't filed. All their offices around us are closed so we couldn't get answers. Ended up having to file it myself. So basically we paid Jackson Hewitt $300 just to file our local tax. Never again!"

"If you like wasting your time and feeling your not a priority this is the place for you. I dropped my taxes off and for three weeks I had to call and call and call. They don’t care and trying to run some type of Amazon business and do taxes."

"NEVER TRUST THEM WITH YOUR TAXES! Paid them $200 to file my taxes., the IRS never recieved anything. After calling them many times, and being assured over and over that they were filed, found out 2 months later that my taxes had actually NOT been filed. I was then told that the supervisor was e-filing them as we speak. THAT WAS A LIE! I was told a week later that my taxes were not e-filed, they were mailed. It's been almost 2 more months since then, and the IRS has still not received anything. They never answer the phones, and if they do, they say a supervisor will call me back. But that never happens. Because of their mistakes, lies, and refusal to resolve the problem, not only have I not gotten my tax refund, I also did not get my stimulus. Do yourself a huge favor, and go anywhere but here! THIS IS AN AMAZON HUB, NOT A TAX PREP LOCATION!"

"Stay away from Jackson Hewitt!!! They are independently ran so ONLY the location you filed can look at what you filed NO OTHER LOCATION can look you up.... Secondly they will lie to you.... I recently filed my taxes with them and TOLD them That I have not yet (I am speaking of the Linden ave Branch here in Dayton Ohio).... That I have not yet received my stimulus and I explained to them that the Government (IRS) instructed us to file the stimulus package to our Taxes.... They had NO CLUE as to what I was talking about.... So clearly they are not up to par with looking and keeping updated on what the IRS is asking us to do for those who did not receive their stimulus check. I called latter that night and asked the lady on the phone can she prove to me that they added my stimulus check to my taxes.... She said YES... I asked again and she said YES. I latter found out (4 days ago) that the stimulus check can't be filed till AFTER I received a letter from The IRS stating the proof of the amount (600 or Higher) in my case $1,200. So Jackson Hewitt lied about how the promised that they did add my stimulus check to my Taxes when in fact they can't do that until I received the letter from The IRS. LIERS.....LIERS.....LIERS.......LIERS.....THEY WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER get my business again.... As long as they get their money they don't give a DAM. I spelled that wrong on purpose so it won't get blocked. SHAME ON YOU! JACKSON HEWITT!!!!!"

"The employees watched me walk in and continued on with conversations. I thought the office was closed for lunch or something. Finally I was helped and I automatically ask about how much am I looking at I was told 300 to 400 I end up spending 570... Big difference. Of course I continue since the work was completed. I log on a few hours later with the online account because I had to remind the guy about my address due to me moving. Boom he used the old address. I had to call and have that fixed too. I will NOT be going back next year and I don't recommend it. Very unprofessional and irritating."
