A Refund Advance loan is a great option for those who need money before their tax refund arrives. While Refund Advance is no longer available this year, Early Refund Advance was offered at select locations from December 11, 2023, until January 14, 2023, and No Fee Refund Advance was available at most locations from January 2, 2024, until February 11, 2024.
We offer appointments for in-person tax preparation, drop-off tax preparation, and assistance with IRS letters. To ensure personalized service, we recommend booking an appointment online or calling us at (513) 318-4313. Walk-ins are also welcome at our 2711 South Main Street office.

"These folks are great. I came in on tax day with an issue on two local tax returns after a move and an error in withholding. A supervisor had to come out to assist, but the error ended up being minor and they were able to correct my returns. Despite some hassle for both sides, the whole experience left a very positive impression. I've used the JH online service for years, but I've already schedule an additional in-office appointment at the Middletown location for a revision. I won't hesitate to use JH services in the future."

"Won't give it a 1* review but dang, this was not a pleasant experience. Employees make it feel like you are bothering them. When I presented my tax information I was met with this attitude and sentiment that I must be do something nefarious to even be surviving based on the income I had presented. It was insulting and incredibly unprofessional. When I attempted to give information on my dependants I was told that a court order granting me custody was not satisfactory to prove the kids lived with me and I should be expecting a call from the IRS and all this hoopla. She made it seem like she didn't want you there, I didn't even get a chance to go over my capital gains taxes and other info because I made the decision to take my business elsewhere and walked out of there, never to return again. I encourage you to do the same for this location."
