"I can honestly say Jianshen and his team were the best contractors I've ever worked with in my home. Jianshen's attention to detail is unmatched in my experience. His architectural background makes him especially qualified to notice every little thing and ensure that it's completed to a high standard. He and his team were always professional, pleasant, and responsive. My biggest frustration with some contractors is their poor communication skills. Jianshen does not suffer from the same limitation. He even called me when he was out of the country to make sure I knew when his team would be working and who would be in charge of my project while he was sway. I never once felt like the project was lagging or going off the rails—something I've felt with other contractors. Jianshen even went to bat for me when we had a relatively minor problem with a subcontractor that he recommended, but that we hired directly. "We love our new kitchen! Jianshen's team was recommended by a friend and when he arrived to talk through options we immediately felt like we were in great hands compared to the others we had talked to. He was patient and explained all of our options in detail to help us make the best decision, rather than guessing what we want. This helped us to find the right balance of value, saving money, and spending more on customizations only where we needed it. Everything moved quickly once we started and they stayed very close to the predicted schedule. Sometimes our house had unwanted surprises for them, and they were able to re-route pipes and electrical or modify the cabinet sizing on-site to make everything work in our space.
