"My husband and I filed taxes with Jackson Hewitt this year. He had filed with Jackson Hewitt for years. We will not ever recommend this place to anyone or file with them again. We had to go through 5 appointments. Ranging from the office being locked and someone not showing up to do our taxes without communication to having to finish our taxes with another rep because the first did not know how to do our school taxes. After filing, we asked how we receive our federal check and we were told it would be sent in the mail. It's been over a month now and now they say that we were supposed to pick it up and it looks like it got sent back to the "bank". Nobody called us. We were told in the mail. Now we have no idea where our check is and the rep on the phone is new and will have to "try to figure it out." This experience has been sloppy and stressful for them to charge hundreds to file for us. No communication and lack of knowledge from a company who is dealing with OUR money looks BAD."
