But Brandon made everything run smoothly, even getting the installers here at an earlier date than we had expected. The installers of both the flooring and the “quarter-round carpenter” were efficient and professional, and you could tell they all took great pride in their work. UPDATE: January, 2023 we had a minor issue (our mistake not theirs), and their flooring contractors came out in a prompt manner, on the date they said they would, earlier than our time slot, and were in and out in 10 minutes, after checking out all potential problem areas (everything else was great). "We have used James Flooring twice before with good results and this was why we came back, but this time was a completely different experience. The day that they were to come to our home, we had moved everything out of the rooms into surrounding rooms and outside, but they never showed up or called. Finally about a half hour after our scheduled appointment, we called and were told that they would be leaving the store soon. An hour went by, we called back only to be told that the installer never came to work and they weren't sure they could get anyone else. At 5pm that afternoon, after I was already making frantic calls for replacement service, they called and said they could come the next day. I had to work the next day, so we had to reschedule for Friday which meant all of our things were left elsewhere for two more days. On Friday, they arrived an hour early. We had barely gotten out of bed as I had worked the night before. Several of the workmen also complained about the smell of our home which is an older home with multiple problems that we are trying to fix. They left doors and windows wide open without screens stating, "we had to get some air". We even found two "getting air" while taking a smoke break in their truck. The work was good, but the level of professionalism was so poor, I will never use this company again. They really should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves, but I didn't get the feeling they were."
