H&R Block

"I gave the business my taxes a week before they were due. On the DAY THEY WERE DUE, they call and say that they couldn't do them and I needed to pick them up. They stated they couldn't file an extension because they don't have a POA. That was bogus because other CPA's have done that for me in the past. They told me the manager would call and discuss this with me. I waited a few months before posting this review to give the manager ample time to reach out. Never got a call. So now I had to pay someone else more than what HR Block was charging to get them done in a timely manner."

"My 1st time here and Amber took care of me. She was fast, told me exactly what she was doing, answered all of my questions. It was a bit pricey, but gave me peace of mind, especially with the 2 additional options incase of an audit or the id protect thingy."

"3rd year in a row HR Block has screwed up our taxes. Enough with using your company. Your employees have no clue with tax law. They could spell my name correct on documents. I had to tell them the name was wrong multiple times. Finally they asked me to sign documents which were the wrong name so they could shred said documents. They still handed me documents with my name wrong. It's not a complicated name. Last year they merged my name and my spouse with the wrong person and birthdate. They year before that they had us owing monies we didn't have to. I refuse to deal with incompetent people. Who knows if these are right. I will do them myself from now on. Worst service ever. I do not like arguing with your employees but apparently they need a course in tax preparation."
