They ended up charging me 200 dollars didn't even call me to let me know how much more the cost was and made me wait over the weekend before I could pick it up.They also quoted me a price that I got it fix for half there quoted price would never go there again or recommend anyone"

"These reviews are making me nervous as we have a car that has been at the garage for over a month. We had 0 issues with Bauerle, so we just assumed service would be the same. Perhaps Kyle was the one working on our car, but hopeful this is all made right soon as we are typically loyal customers."

"I do not recommend Wendell's Garage for any type of repair. I have a 2011 Toyota Sienna I took in for a Check Engine Light. I was told the van needed two Knock Sensors and an Oxygen Sensor. I agreed to the work. It took almost two weeks to get the van back. The day I picked up the van I drove it maybe 7 miles and the Check Engine Light came back on. I took it back and now I needed a new Throttle Body. I agreed to the work. It took another week to get the van back. I drove the van maybe another 20 miles and guess what the check engine light was back on. At this point I took the van to the Toyota dealer in Delaware. They fixed it in one day. They explained to me that whoever did the previous work installed the wrong Throttle Body and also routed the wires for the Knock Sensors incorrectly. They gave me back the Throttle Body that Wendell's Garage installed. I took it back to Wendell's and asked for a refund. They took the part from me and promised a refund. I have yet to see the refund or the part given back to me. Final price for all of this work was close to $2000. In the end I just needed the Throttle Body replaced. Long story short they not only don't know what they are doing they are thieves. I returned a $355 Throttle Body and have nothing to show for it. I have called at least 20 times over the past two months and have been very patient. Every time they give me an excuse and tell me they will return my call. I have yet to get a single return call. Stay away from this garage. This is no way to run a business."

"I wanted to also share my thoughts on the service at Wendells garage, the service was not what I had hoped it would be. As a customer, you should never be surprised about your bill. When I got the call that my truck was ready (After 1 month) my bill was $900 dollars higher than expected. during the repair, i was called 1 time to state a part would need to be replaced. upon waiting on a call to say my vehicle was ready, i called to find out another part had been ordered. i chalk this one up and move on. I get a call stating car is ready for pick up but making a noise and another cheap part needed to be replaced. I give the green light to replace this part and accept the labor charge for it, but they took the transmission apart and just replaced parts without contacting me to ask. the parts they replaced were good parts that had some rust on them from me having the transmission apart prior to taking it in, and they parts got wet over night, but they were still good parts. a phone call from them would have solved this issue without me getting charged for replacement parts. the cheap part that should have been no more than 25.00, i was billed $202 dollars for. I have taken the loss on this project but learned my lesson and wont deal with this garage again. i do not normally like to leave reviews but I was able to pay this unsuspecting bill but in the future, someone else may not be fortunate enough to cover these hidden charges! @Wendells, i see that you have responded to a post so i know you are watching. going forward, take the time to call your customers to let them know about additional charges. it may save you a lawsuit when someone cant get their car because they got a bill for parts that they did not agree to. a couple reviews mention this problem, and i would suspect this continued behavior will cause you some legal issues in the future"
